Fae & Folk is a floral studio inspired by the magick of nature and fairytale, rooted in a deep love for floral and herbal folklore. With an unstructured and intuitive approach to designing, we yield an entirely bespoke, earthy, and distinctive style- using locally sourced, ethically foraged, as well as imported materials. We work with the seasons and our clients to create beautiful high end floral art. From romantic hand-tied bouquets, moody centerpieces, artful installations, and everything in between, Fae & Folk is dedicated to using sustainable and eco-conscious floral practices. 

Meet Samantha Nan, Owner & Lead Designer

I have always believed in the importance of romanticizing life and creating beauty to share with the world. Since childhood I have been creatively expressive in one way or another, with my beginnings rooted in acrylic painting. From there I gained a clear understanding of depth, colour, light, and creativity. My love for florals began during this time of my life, finding much joy in painting and illustrating the botanical world.

In 2021 I decided to follow my heart and took a leap of faith applying to work in a reputable local floral shop- it was there that my skills were honed, and my passion truly blossomed. Combining a love for fairytale and folklore, with floral symbolism and artistic ability, I created my own signature approach to floral design. Now working from my home studio in the heart of Niagara, I create whimsical pieces with a touch of magick in every bouquet, arrangement and installation.
